Massage Gift Certificate Template, Free for Canva

By Ava · October 16, 2026 · 5 min read

Gift certificates are the quietest way to fill January. People buy them in December for partners, parents and coworkers, and the person who receives one almost always books a full appointment, often with an add on. You do not need a fancy system. You need a clean certificate, a code and a way to post it.

A free gift certificate template

The fastest route is an editable template you can brand once and reuse. My massage Instagram post templates and story templates include gift card layouts, so you add your name, your value and your code and export. Everything edits in the free version of Canva, no Canva Pro needed. Save one as a PDF to email and one as a square to post.

What to put on a massage gift certificate

  • Your business name and logo
  • The value, or the named service (a 60 minute massage)
  • A unique code, so you can track it
  • An expiry date, if your state allows one
  • How to redeem it: your booking link or phone
  • Any conditions, kept short and fair

How to sell more through December

  • Post a gift card story every few days from late November, with a link sticker.
  • Offer a small bonus: spend 100, get a 15 add on card for them to keep.
  • Pin a highlight called Gift Cards so it is easy to find all month.
  • Remind your email list once in early December and once mid month.

A simple way to track redemptions

Keep a short list: code, value, date sold, date redeemed. A note on your phone works. When someone books with a code, mark it used so it cannot be spent twice. That is the whole system.
